Collaboration with members and stakeholders aimed at sharing its vision of the scientific and technological development priorities for agri-food with national and regional policymakers. Creating and managing tools to promote the involvement and participation of public and private players in the agri-food research and innovation system. Advisory and advocacy activities involving national and regional policymakers to foster the identification of research and innovation needs in terms of both technological and financial requirements.

Internationalisation

Support for the development of international partnerships, European and transnational research and innovation projects in the sector and promotion of the cluster on a European and transnational level. Promoting the development of technological and scientific collaborations involving its members on a European and international level, through the organisation of and/or participation in overseas initiatives, including with a view to carrying out transnational research and innovation projects. Projection of CL.A.N. on an international level through the affirmation of its activity and representativeness.

Events and networking

Raising awareness about Research and Innovation in agri-food and the contextual promotion of the development of extensive cooperation networks between different areas. Boosting stakeholders’ awareness of the role and strategies developed by the cluster through its partnership for the development of agri-food and Italian production. Organising events, producing publications and developing an online platform for dialogue between players in the sector. Promoting the launch and consolidation of research and innovation partnerships with regional ecosystems.

Communication and promotion

Development of an effective communication plan and digital strategy for the cluster to increase its visibility and to boost its identity. Publicising and promoting the activities carried out by the cluster and the state of progress of its work programme operations identified in the Technology Roadmap. Through the implementation of an effective and shared communication plan, together with the relative digital strategy, the cluster is able to better target its information towards stakeholders and members.

Support for research, innovation and the technology transfer processes.

Support for human capital training

Analysis and in-depth examinations relating to the planning of training and development pathways for the research and innovation skills required by the current labour market. Facilitating the development of human resources and the exchange of knowledge, promoting the mobility of researchers and innovators, and developing new educational programmes that go beyond the traditional offerings of educational and academic institutions, with a special focus on continuous professional development. Promoting collaboration and discussion between industry and educational, training and learning contexts.

Development of knowledge management systems

Supporting the improvement of innovation management capacities through member orientation and effective information and networking activities. Providing cluster members with information on funding programmes and opportunities in the field of research and innovation in the agri-food sector, and promoting the launch of new projects through collaboration among cluster members. Creating a database of research and innovation projects carried out by members and developing open-innovation activities with start-ups and research centres.
